Hi everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! My area just received over two feet of snow so I haven't been able to leave the house until today. I hung out with my friend and we went to a bookstore to take photos. I got this vest for Christmas and I was thrilled with it because it is the look a-like of a Michael Kors vest I wanted. I hope everyone is enjoying their last days of 2010!

I finally got around to seeing Black Swan today and it was absolutely brilliant. I am a ballet dancer, as you can tell here, so it was especially exciting for me that a ballet movie was out. I had very high expectations for the movie, yet my expectations were still exceeded. The plot line was intricate and well developed, the tension was cliffhanging, and the ballet technique was flawless. It really was perfect.

My outfit today was inspired by Swan Lake! I layered a blouse over a tutu-like dress to make it appear like a skirt. My headband had the necessary feathers to add in the swan appeal. By using both black and white, I combined the black swan and the white swan.

Hi everyone! I have been flooded with school work so I haven't been able to post for quite a long time. :( I go on break Friday, so hopefully I will have more time soon. I picked this sweater up at a vintage shop and it's a mens sweater that I wear as a tunic. I think it may be cashmere too. I love wearing huge sweaters in the winter.

This has been the end of a very long week. I just want it to be Christmas time! I look forward to relaxing this weekend, although I have a lot of studying to do. As for the outfit, I paired the skirt and shift because of their matching color scheme and their mismatched patterns. My Minnetonka boots are getting worn out but I love them anyway. This outfit surprisingly kept me warm (with my jacket!) in the cold weather.

Today I had 6 tests/quizzes. It was a pretty hectic and stressful day, so I opted to wear something pretty cozy but classy. My wool sweater kept me warm in the chilly classrooms and I layered socks over my tights to give the appearance of knee high boots and to keep my legs warm.

My friends wanted to have a photo shoot, but since it is becoming winter, we forgot that it gets dark out so quickly. In the end, I was happy I chose an all-black ensemble to give the photos a more ominous feel. I also wound up taking some ballet pictures! I have taken ballet for 13 years (I am 16) and pointe for 6 years. I absolutely love dancing.

Hello! So I suppose this is my first post. In this blog I plan to post things I wear, things I want/trends I like, makeup/hair tips, and maybe even some home decorating and recipes. I hope your enjoy it!

The title of this post is Tuck Everlasting because I feel like Winnie Foster when I wear this blouse. I first read the book when I was nine, but as I look back on it, I realize that it was one of the first truly philosophical novels that I have read.

The weather this day was beautiful, but now autumn is slowing transitioning towards winter. At least we can all look forward to the holidays.
