ELF goodies

I recently bought a bunch of products from ELF and I decided to share my thoughts. I had been looking around the website for a while, wanting to try some products. My excuse to buy some things came recently when I saw a 50% ELF anniversary discount! Only later did I realize that ELF always has discounts and promotions when you're on their email list...and I always love a bargain! The items I received were: mineral blush brush, Studio blush in Candid Coral, lip primer & plumper, eye primer & liner sealer, all over color stick in Golden Peach, duo eyeshadow cream in Butter Pecan, light eyebrow kit, eyeliner brush, and my free gift, Hypershine gloss in Blossom.

I got everything in that order for about $20, including shipping, which I thought was a very good deal, considering the amount of products I purchased. My favorite thing I got was the eyebrow kit. It's a bit creamy and I use the eyeliner brush to apply it. I have rather light brows, so when I used a pencil to shade them it, it looked a bit fake. This kit comes in two shades so you can blend/smudge as much as you want to get the right look. For $3, I love this product and I'll definitely buy it again! The lip primer and eye primers are also very good. I haven't really used primers before, but they are cheap and work well. The lip plumper is quite minty, so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like anything spicy. The cream eyeshadow is also very nice for the solid price of $1. It gives a light coverage that brightens your eyes without making it look like you are wearing heavy makeup. The all over color stick is kind of small, but it is a nice color (Golden Peach) and I plan on only using it on my cheeks anyway. The studio blush is a good size for $3 and I like the color that I picked (Candid Coral). I found that the color lasts longer when you use the all over color stick as a base for the blush. I am very satisfied with my purchases!

Tomorrow I leave for Orlando, Florida (yay!) so I will take loads of pictures and upload them sometime next week. I finished (and survived) my ballet intensive so the rest of my summer will be spent doing summer homework and playing tennis...and shopping. I recently got a new tripod and a camera remote, so once I clear a space in my room I hope to update on a regular basis!
