Today I went to the city to celebrate my friend Silvana's eighteenth birthday. We got brunch at Penelope, so of course I had to dress up. I went with a comfy dress to match my new headband, but later in the day I wished I wore shoes with more arch support! I found this bag on the sale rack at TJ Maxx and I absolutely love it. I don't have many huge bags but it was nice to have a place to stash my camera when I didn't feel like carrying it, even if my shoulder was a little sore at the end of the day.

We wound up going to the giant Forever 21, which made me sad I didn't have an indispensable amount of cash at hand. We got our "15 seconds of fame"...more like 5 seconds...at the American Eagle Store, and we eventually wandered into both M&M World and the Disney Store. I am partial to M&M World, as they told me my style would never go out of style, and what more could a fashion blogger want? Also you can't really beat the aroma of chocolate.

one. After not blogging for basically ever, I started to miss it. Just when I had begun gearing myself up to get back into the swing of things, devastation hit me as my beloved Macbook endured a final (minimal!) coffee spill. The straw that broke the camel's back. Instead of spending my money on repairs I decided to finally go ahead and get the Macbook Pro, and I am a woman obsessed. At least I have a brand new laptop for college, that I will be extremely careful with since I am now unnaturally paranoid.

two. Speaking of college, I leave for Barnard in less than four weeks! It's absolutely crazy to think about. I am starting to get concerned about how I will manage fitting all my shoes and clothes in my dorm. Once I move in and figure out an organizational system, I'll be sure to share my wisdom. I've already bought a makeup organizer and a jewelry box, so I should be okay on the accessories front!

three. Next Sunday I leave for Chicago for a 9 day long vacation/picking up my brother from his internship. I'm excited because I've never left the east coast before and I haven't especially been to any major cities besides Philadelphia and Manhattan. I plan on taking lots of pictures, and once I figure out my schedule during my time there I'll see how much I'll have time to blog!

four. I recently modeled for my friend Maria (who took my prom pictures)! You can check out the awesome pictures here. It was so much fun, and it gave me a perfectly acceptable excuse to wear a flower crown.

I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. I bought this shirt because it reminded me of dancewear and because I have a bunch of high waisted shorts and skirts to wear with it. I hate the look of crop tops with regular shorts or skirts. I think its best to just have a peek of stomach showing, a la nineties. Those were the good old days anyway, right?

one. I just really haven't been inspired lately, as can be seen by my lack of posts. This week has been very lazy, although I did get my ears pierced again so that's another change.

two. I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time the past two days on Pinterest. I know it's not the most productive thing but it has helped me get a little more inspired. Although I did do something I thought I wouldn't succumb to...I made a wedding board. And I'm pinning out of control.

three. I think I just really need to organize myself. I'll probably organize my room (hopefully) today. I'm a very organized person in theory, but in practice I get stressed and my tidiness is sacrificed.

four. If I don't post for a while again, I'm probably still trying to garner up some more inspiration. I have been needing a break though so it's not necessarily a bad thing.

five. I do really love lazy Sundays.

one. I can't decide if my summer is going quickly or slowly. I'm not as busy as I usually am but my summer still feels packed. I'm just going to roll with it.

two. I'm most likely getting my ears pierced a second time on Tuesday. I am excited. I need another change in my life.

three. I've been doing so much yoga lately. I definitely need to continue it in college because it helps so much with my stress levels.

four. There are so many things on Etsy I want it's obscene. I may go on an Etsy spree in the near future.
