As many of you are surely aware by now, my love for Alice in Wonderland is infinite. I think it's such a lovely story (although many only focus on the trippy aspects of it) and for me it's an endless source of inspiration. The colors associated with Alice and other Disney/fairytale stories are so beautifully combined. I wear so much black and grey, so I'm trying to get some more color in my closet. However, I'm also more open to wearing white. White, I think, is really quite underutilized but often it looks so crisp and bright when styled correctly.
I'm hoping to do more of these thematic posts, but until then here are my picks for tea time--with Alice, of course.
one. [$48, now on sale for $33] This dress from Tobi is so simple but so versatile. The baby blue color is so pretty and unique, and of course, so Alice. I think a piece like this would be perfect from the end of winter into spring. It looks like it would flatter most people, and the sleeves are so cute. I might just have to invest in it for myself!
two. [$61.39] I love the shape and color of this ASOS bag. It looks very sturdy and it has a very nice structure. The rabbit and gold hardware make it perfect. All of my bags are dark and somewhat dreary--this rabbit bag would certainly perk things up. Now I just need to wait for it to get back in stock.
three. [$12.99] Modcloth certainly knows how to do tea. Just serve your tea in this nice, minimalist mug and then wait to see how your recipient reacts. Boom. Octopus.
four. [$70] This Disney Couture necklace is pricey, but I've had my eye on it for the past few years. One day I'm going to have to give in (or someone really nice will get it for me). It's very pretty but subtle too. Most of my jewelry has sentimental value and I think this would fit in perfectly with my collection.
five. [$9.51] This ear cuff is too cool. I've seen a lot of chained ear cuffs but I've never seen anything like this before. It's so perfect for spring and it's definitely affordable!
six. [$34.95] These Not Rated oxfords from DSW would definitely get a lot of wear this spring. The off white color makes them so versatile and I love the dot detailing. The shoe laces add a nice pop of florals and color.
seven. [$29.99] This Modcloth teapot is everything. It's white so it fits in nicely with any other color tea set and it's an elephant, so really what more could you want? It's so adorable and so kitschy and I just adore it.
eight. [$9.29] I've seen these bunny lamps on a lot of UK blogs and now that I know that the website ships worldwide, I need one (okay yeah I need the baby one too) more than anything. Seriously.
nine. [$14] While it's certainly a tad more pricey, this Paul & Joe nail polish is certainly pretty. The color reminds me of the light pinks my great aunt used to polish my nails with when I was a little girl. The packaging is gorgeous as well--it reminds me of the "Drink Me" vial in Alice in Wonderland. Another plus: Paul & Joe doesn't test on animals!

This wishlist is divine. So so cute. I wanted to "aww" at everything.
